Charlie Dean will lead a 13-strong England A team in a three-match T20 series against India A, as previously reported by The Cricketer.

The fixtures, which are scheduled for November 29, December 1 and December 3, will take place at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.

Allrounder Dean is joined in the squad by fellow England internationals Lauren Filer, Mahika Gaur, Kirstie Gordon, Freya Kemp, Mady Villiers and Issy Wong as well as Grace Scrivens, who captained England to the final of the Under-19s T20 World Cup earlier this year.

The players have spent the past fortnight in Oman as part of an England A training camp led by fielding and wicketkeeping performance coach, Michael Bates, which The Cricketer revealed earlier this month.

Georgia Davis, Grace Potts, Kalea Moore and Sophie Munro, who have not been selected for the India A matches, will remain in Oman to train alongside the senior side before returning to England on December 2.

Tash Farrant will also extend her stay in Oman as she continues her recovery from injury. The 27-year-old left-armer, who has made 24 appearances for England, suffered a reoccurrence of a stress fracture in her back in June and was ruled out of the remainder of the 2023 season.

Thunder batter Liberty Heap returned home from the training camp early after fracturing her clavicle while three-format England international Alice Davidson-Richards withdrew from the group following a family bereavement.
