Despite his fledgeling career as a television presenter, the 41-year-old has ambitions of leading the men's team
Andrew Flintoff is still interested in becoming the England coach despite having previously been turned down the role.
The 41-year-old is regarded as one of the most iconic players of the modern era, primarily due to his man-of-the-series display during the 2005 Ashes series.
Flintoff formerly applied for the vacant position in 2014 but was overlooked as Peter Moores returned for his second spell as coach.
Though the former Lancashire star has become an established television presenter he continues to harbour ambitions of returning to the sport.
"Well they've got my email (address) haven't they?" he said when asked about the possibility of reapplying for the position on Test Match Special.
"It probably isn't quite right yet.
"I'd love to be England coach. There are probably three jobs I'd love coaching (wise). Obviously England, Lancashire and Lancashire academy.

"I've got quite a lot on but further down the line that is definitely an ambition or aspiration of mine to coach.
"You would not believe how much cricket I watch. I watch everything, older games. I am around it quite a lot, and I am actually enjoying it a lot.
"There is a bit going on now but further down the line I'd love to have a go."
Trevor Bayliss will depart as England coach after the conclusion of the Ashes series.
Currently, the presenter of motoring magazine show Top Gear and a leading figure on the comedy panel show A League of Their Own, Flintoff enjoyed a colourful international career.
He played 79 Tests, 141 ODIs and seven T20s for England and captained his country across two formats. His explosive technique with bat and ball made him a popular figure with the cricketing public, yet his coaching experience is wafer-thin.
Though Flintoff - who has a level two coaching certificate - has put his name to a cricket academy, he has not been involved in the sport in a competitive capacity since playing in the 2014-15 Big Bash for Brisbane Heat.
