SOUTH AFRICA

Andrie Steyn (14): Struggled against Brunt's outswing and survived an early review, before being undone by one that nipped in off the seam 3

Laura Wolvaardt (43): Looked in good touch, driving classily through cover; walked off after being given out lbw when replays showed an inside edge 5

Lara Goodall (5): Was reprieved on review but edged to slip two balls later 2

Sune Luus (7): Scratchy throughout and was tied down after the loss of two early wickets; eventually cleaned up by Ecclestone 2

Marizanne Kapp (12; 1-45): Tried to inject energy with the bat but was well caught at mid-on; uncharacteristically loose with the ball, so much so that she bowled at a stump through the post-match presentation 4

Chloe Tryon (88): The difference between an early finish and a semi-competitive total; showed her teammates the tempo required in ODI cricket against a leading opposition 8

Nadine de Klerk (38; 2-44): Batted nicely to accompany Tryon towards a total; picked up two wickets and was South Africa's best bowler 6

Trisha Chetty (1): Kept tidily, having been left out of the Test side 4

Tumi Sekhukhune (1; 1-44): Below her best with the ball and offered little control to Luus 3

Ayabonga Khaka (0; 1-41): South Africa are a stronger side for her presence; trapped Knight in front but couldn't stem the flow of runs 4

Nonkululeko Mlaba (0*; 0-43): Little spin on offer, and England took full advantage, taking Mlaba for almost nine runs per over 3

ENGLAND

Emma Lamb (102; 0-12): Fine, chanceless hundred in only her second ODI innings, cutting firmly and strong all around the ground; deserved to be not out at the end but picked out the legside sweeper 9

Tammy Beaumont (1): Cleaned up cheaply by an inswinger, her weakness; missed out on a flat pitch 2

Sophia Dunkley (22): Pushed up to No.3 in an aggressive move by England; hit powerfully down the ground before being trapped in front 4

Nat Sciver (55; 4-59): Looked in extraordinary form with the bat and went to yet another half century, effectively killing South Africa's chances alongside Lamb; took four middle-order wickets 8.5

Heather Knight (20): Pushed herself down to No.5 to give England a greater control of their innings and to allow Dunkley the chance to attack from No.3; fell attempting to sweep Khaka 5

Danni Wyatt (14*): Looked destined not to be required but came in and smashed three fours, including the winning runs 5

Amy Jones (0*): Took a fine catch standing up to the stumps on an otherwise routine day 5

Sophie Ecclestone (1-30): Brilliant through her first five overs, and then taken for a couple of boundaries by Tryon when she overpitched 7

Katherine Brunt (3-18): Set the tone for England at the top in a superb return to the side; returned at the death and went at just two runs per over 8.5

Charlie Dean (1-54): Given some treatment by Tryon, who played beautifully, but claimed the big wicket of Wolvaardt 5

Kate Cross (0-40): Not her best day with the ball and was targeted for treatment by Tryon, who hit her out of the ground with one six; important catch to get rid of Kapp 4
