I know it isn't on to kick a woman when she's down but the quotes in the article make it sound like Heather Knight is the greatest thing ever to happen to English cricket, not someone who led England Women to such a dismal Ashes defeat that her bosses want someone else to do her job. I hope she thrives post captaincy. If there are cultural as well as personnel changes then Knight's successor may have an easier job than she did.
