Whilst I've nothing against Bazball in principal it's application seems to have become restricted to using players with the right attitude rather than the best techniques. There's no plan B as winning or losing doesn't seem to be the major consideration, despite our recent win ratio. With test cricket struggling to pull the punters worldwide I understand the need to make the game more entertaining to compete with other sports, but any sporting supporter will tell you that winning is the best entertainment, losing the worst. We can't carry on winning as our pool of Bazball talent seems limited, so what happens to address failure. I feel that once McCullum and Stokes have moved on there's no obvious successor, so even if we have a good Ashes summer this experiment could be short lived.
