I’ve given up being angry. Richards Thompson and Gould have joined Tom Harrison in the cricket lovers rogues gallery. The men seduced by money and prepared to do and say almost anything in pursuit of it. Anger has given way to resignation and sadness. I’ll watch county cricket until it dies and ignore everything else (I used to do all five days of a Test Match every year and assorted other days but none this year). I’m going to the Ashes next year as it may be the last chance and then that will be that for international cricket. It’s being killed off too as this summer's Tests and next year's schedule show.
