Hampshire have announced that bowler Reece Topley will leave the club.
The injury prone seamer made the decision to sign a white-ball-only contract earlier this year, on the advice of the ECB, in order to manage his workload
The 24-year-old could not remain injury-free however, suffering a stress fracture while on England Lions duty and undergoing back surgery in July.
Now he will seek pastures new for the 2019 season with Hampshire and the player agreeing to part ways.
Hampshire Director of Cricket, Giles White, said: "Mid-way through the 2018 season Reece made it apparent that he wanted to pursue his career elsewhere – we wish him well."
The former-Essex seamer made three first-class, 11 List A and seven T20 appearances since joining the county at the end of the 2015 season.
Topley has featured in 10 ODIs and six T20Is for England.
