Matt Carter has put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension at Nottinghamshire.
The offspinner was the club's leading wicket-taker in the Royal London One-Day Cup in 2018 and also snared 16 County Championship wickets.
He has now committed his future to Trent Bridge until the end of the 2020 campaign.

“I’m over the moon to have a signed a new deal at Notts,” he said. “I feel like I’ve had a good season and to be rewarded with a new contract shows that my hard work has paid off.
“I already can’t wait to get going again next season and hopefully keep improving in my time with Notts.”
Director of cricket Mick Newell said: “We’re really pleased to have been able to keep Matt at the club for the next couple of years.
“He’s had a great season after breaking into the side and we know he can only get better from here so we can’t wait to see him continue to grow at the club.”
