What's the match?

Dubai Capitals face Desert Vipers in the latest instalment of the ILT20 2023.

When is it taking place?

Start of play is scheduled for 6pm local time (2pm GMT) on Saturday, January 28.

Where is the match being played?

The game was be played at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.

Who's got the form?

Vipers have managed to navigate the inclement weather over the last couple of days and are yet to have a washout.

They are second in the table with four wins from five, returning to winning ways against MI Emirates in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

Capitals may have seen their last match with Sharjah Warriors rained off after just five overs were bowled, but they might also have been a touch fortunate at the same time.

When the heavens opened they had been reduced to 17 for 4, with Junaid Siddique having claimed 2 for 4.

Currently outside of the semi-final places, Capitals have won two of their six matches and badly need a return to winning ways.

What's the key match-up?

Away from Alex Hales and Colin Munro, Sherfane Rutherford has found form of late and comes into the game looking to maintain his run.

Scores of 56 not out, 27 not out and 23 have helped him achieve an average of 118 from five matches, giving Vipers depth to their line.

Capitals have shared the wickets around their line-up but keeping the runs down will be equally as important against this powerful line-up.

United Arab Emirates international Akid Raja is their leading wicket-taker with six in as many matches.

But Vipers may eye his economy rate of 9.38 and sense that he can be got at on these tired surfaces.

What's the weather forecast?

It should be a much more tranquil afternoon in Dubai, with sunny skies making way for a clear evening.

What is the team news?

Having seen rain curtail their last encounter, Capitals can expect to be unchanged.

Vipers produced a polished display in beating MI Emirates and the same XI, with Hales opening, is likely.
