Batter Mitch Wagstaff has signed a new one-year contract with Derbyshire.
The 20-year-old, who made his debut in 2021, has made eight appearances in first-class and List A cricket.
Last season, he featured three times in the County Championship, scoring 165 runs, including two half-centuries, and taking two wickets.
For the 2nd XI, he scored 344 runs at 34.40 in six red-ball appearances and a further 41 runs in three T20 matches.

Wagstaff said: "I've developed a lot during my first year as a professional and now I have the opportunity to kick on and push for selection.
"It's a big time in my career and we have so many good players who I can really learn from and that will only help my journey."
Head of cricket, Mickey Arthur, added: "Mitch has shown real improvement during his time within the first team setup and is starting to build on the promise we believe he has.
"We want local youngsters to be coming into the first team, it's important for this club to produce its own players, so for Mitch to be staying is a big step forward."
