The Nottinghamshire bowler has had two previous loan stints with Gloucestershire this season, taking 11 wickets in seven appearances across all competitions
Zak Chappell has re-joined Gloucestershire on loan, with the 25-year-old bowler available to feature in the club’s upcoming LV= Insurance County Championship matches against Hampshire and Northamptonshire.
The Nottinghamshire player has enjoyed two previous loan stints at the club this season, taking three wickets in two red-ball appearances and eight wickets in five T20 Blast outings for Gloucestershire.
He returned to Nottinghamshire at the back end of June, picking up three wickets against Derbyshire in the Blast.
Steve Snell, Gloucestershire's performance director, said: "We're excited that Zak has rejoined us on loan for the two County Championship matches at Cheltenham. With Zak's pace and bounce, he will be a valuable asset for us.
"He's also a great character to have around in the dressing room and he’s already made a great impression, so we're excited to have him back for the next couple of matches."
