Teenage batting-allrounder, Yash Vagadia, has also penned a rookie contract
Yorkshire have signed Namibia international David Wiese for the 2023 T20 Blast.
The 37-year-old has considerable pedigree in the competition, scoring 913 runs at a strike rate of 135.86 and picking up 38 wickets in 68 appearances for Sussex.
Across a T20 career which has seen him earn contracts in the BPL, CPL, IPL and PSL among others, the allrounder has scored over 3,600 T20 runs at a strike rate in excess of 140 as well as picking up over 250 wickets.
Furthermore, Wiese is no stranger to Headingley having made seven appearances for Northern Superchargers in the 2022 edition of The Hundred. He scored 150 runs, including one half-century, and took seven wickets.
He is the second overseas player confirmed for 2023 following the signing of Shan Masood on a two-year deal earlier in the summer.

Yash Vagadia, meanwhile, has put pen to paper on a rookie contract and will join up with the Yorkshire squad from June 1 as he balances his cricket commitments with his studies at Durham University.
The 18-year-old batting-allrounder was named academy player of the year in 2022 and has featured 12 times for the 2nd XI. In 2022, he scored 362 runs (four half-centuries) and took two wickets in six 2nd XI Championship outings and also featured twice in the T20 competition.
Commenting on joining Yorkshire, Wiese said: "I am delighted to have signed with Yorkshire CCC for the T20 Blast. I really enjoyed myself at Headingley during The Hundred and look forward to be part of such a prestigious club."
Vagadia added: "I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to be a professional cricketer, and I'm really looking forward to getting started this winter at Headingley.
"I am also excited to embrace the challenge of balancing my degree at Durham University whilst also improving my skills and growing as a player in order to have a successful season."
Director of cricket, Darren Gough, backed Wiese to bring much-needed experience to Yorkshire's T20 side: "I am thrilled that we have got David over the line so early. David is a proven winner who will offer us some vital experience in the T20 format.
"His desire to constantly improve his game is one of the reasons why he has been so successful around the world."
On Vagadia, he continued: "It is important that we support him during his studies at university as we want him to excel on and off the field.
"Yash will be welcomed back into the team whenever time allows and I will be keeping an eye on his progress until his summer contract begins."
