Yorkshire have confirmed overseas duo Dominic Drakes and Shahab Khan will be available for T20 Blast Finals Day.

West Indies international Drakes, who initially joined the club as cover for Shadab, has taken eight wickets in four outings in the competition. He was nearly the hero against semi-final opponents Lancashire at Headingley back in June, picking out Tom Hartley on the boundary to fall agonisingly short of scoring the match-winning six off the final ball.

Pakistan allrounder, Shadab, meanwhile, has scored 100 runs at a strike rate of 123.45 and picked up nine wickets in 11 outings. He saved arguably his best performance in a Yorkshire shirt for the quarter-finals, scoring 21 runs (12 balls) and taking 2 for 29.

Darren Gough confirmed their involvement on BBC Radio Yorkshire.

Finn Allen, however, has not been released by New Zealand. The opening batter, who scored 190 runs at a strike rate of 179.24 in nine appearances, is currently touring Ireland with the national side.

A decision is yet to be made around the availability of Yorkshire’s England internationals, with Harry Brook, captain David Willey, Dawid Malan and Test duo Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow all involved in the ongoing ODI series against India.

The third and final ODI is scheduled to take place on July 17 at Emirates Old Trafford, the day after Finals Day.
