The India allrounder will be available for the entire campaign after the BCCI approved his first county spell
Krunal Pandya has been recruited to bolster Warwickshire's One-Day Cup squad.
The India allrounder has signed up for his first spell in county cricket after earning BCCI approval.
With 10 players, including Moeen Ali, Sam Hain and Danny Briggs, bound for the men's Hundred when the 50-over competition kick-offs, Pandya's arrival for the whole campaign is a major boost.
Countryman Washington Sundar and Cheteshwar Pujara have already signed up with Lancashire and Sussex for the tournament, that gets underway on August 2.
"I'm extremely excited to get the opportunity to play county cricket and to join such a history club as Warwickshire," he said.
"Edgbaston is a special place to play cricket and I can't wait to call it my home. I hope I can play my part in a successful 50-over campaign with the club and I am looking forward to meeting my teammates.
"I would like to extend my gratitude to both Warwickshire county cricket club and BCCI for this opportunity."

A 31-year-old left-arm spinner who can bat in the upper middle-order, Pandya has played five one-day internationals for India as well as 19 T20Is.
On his ODI debut against England in Pune in March 2021, he hit a 31-ball 58* and took the wicket of Sam Curran to inspire a 66-run victory.
In 76 List A matches, he averages 37.18 with the bat, including two centuries, and has 89 wickets at 31.76 with the ball.
Speaking of the addition, director of cricket Paul Farbrace added: "Krunal will bring a wealth of international experience to a team that will be desperate to do well.
"Due to our impressive T20 performances, we will lose players to The Hundred, but that’s always going to happen to successful teams.
"The opportunity to add a world-renowned all-rounder to an exciting group is fantastic."
