The 27-year-old arrived from Hampshire last summer and has never looked back. Fresh off the back of a career-best first-class 182 not out against Leicestershire, he has penned a fresh three-year deal
Sussex have confirmed that County Championship vice-captain Tom Alsop has agreed to a three-year contract extension with the club.
It comes after the 27-year-old scored a first-class career-best 182 not out against Leicestershire during last week's round of red-ball games
A product of the Hampshire Academy, he moved to Hove initially on a season-long loan last summer before making the switch permanent in June 2022.
"I couldn't be happier to commit long-term to Sussex, from day one it has felt like home", Alsop said.
"It's a special club with an immensely talented squad full of exciting cricketers and fantastic support staff".

Alsop returned four centuries and as many fifties for Sussex in last season's Championship, form he was able to replicate in the Royal London Cup. His 189 against Middlesex was part of the Sharks' run to the semifinals.
It has been a fine start to the 2023 summer for the High Wycombe-born left-hander, scoring 396 runs across the first five matches of the campaign.
Head coach Paul Farbrace, who made Alsop vice-captain of the red-ball team before the start of the season, said: "I'm delighted Tom has extended his stay at Hove, he is a high-quality player and person, another key player to build our team around.
"He has been our standout player so far this season and has a high work ethic along with a high level of skill.
"I am really looking forward to working closely with him when he takes over as captain of the Championship side in the future."
