Toby Pettman has joined Kent on a short-term loan.
He will be available for the club’s LV= Insurance County Championship clash with Surrey, which is scheduled to begin at the Oval on Sunday, June 26.
The 24-year-old seamer, who plays for Nottinghamshire, has made eight first-class appearances in his career to date, scoring 122 runs and taking 36 wickets at 21.13.
He spent the last round of Championship fixtures on loan at Derbyshire and posted first-innings figures of 3 for 40 to help the club to a six-wicket victory over Middlesex.
Pettman is yet to make a first-team appearance for Nottinghamshire.
