Both players are re-signing, but only McAndrew, the Australian right-armer, featured last summer; Seales had been set to represent Sussex in 2023 but suffered a knee problem that ruled him out of his proposed stint
Sussex have bolstered their seam attack for 2024 with the overseas signings of Nathan McAndrew and Jayden Seales.
Both players are re-signing, but only McAndrew, the Australian right-armer, featured last summer. Seales had been set to represent Sussex in 2023 but suffered a knee problem that ruled him out of his proposed stint.
Seales, who has taken 37 wickets in 10 Tests and is regarded as one of the most exciting young fast bowlers in the game, has since recovered and is set to be at Hove from the start of the season through until June 8.
"As a young fast bowler, I want to expose myself to as many different conditions and challenges as possible," he said. I can't wait to test myself in England and hopefully contribute to a winning start for Sussex in both Championship and T20 cricket."
McAndrew, meanwhile, was a shining light in Sussex's red-ball campaign last season. He was left out briefly to accommodate both Steve Smith and Cheteshwar Pujara but finished his spell in England with 31 County Championship wickets at 24.19 apiece, while also adding useful lower-order runs.
He has agreed a deal from June 1 through to the end of July and has begun the Australian season in fine form, with three five-wicket hauls in three first-class games.

"I am absolutely pumped to be back at Sussex for the upcoming season," he said. "I loved my time in Hove last year and I can’t wait to get back out there with the lads in 2024."
Sussex head coach Paul Farbrace added: "He is a very popular guy in our dressing room, and it will be brilliant to have him in our team next summer."
The duo's arrivals offset the loss of Chris Wright, who was expected to join from Leicestershire but backtracked to sign a new deal at Grace Road, while George Garton has moved on to Warwickshire. Danny Lamb, the former Lancashire allrounder, has joined alongside former Middlesex wicketkeeper John Simpson.
