Morne Morkel has signed a contract extension at Surrey.
Morkel, the outstanding bowler in the County Championship last year, has put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the Kia Oval, taking his stay at the club through until at least the end of the 2020 campaign.
The South African, who retired from international cricket prior to the 2018 English summer and joined Surrey as a Kolpak player, took 59 wickets at an average of 14.32 in 10 matches last season.
Director of cricket Alec Stewart said: "Morne was outstanding for us during his first season, both on and off the field. I am delighted he has extended his contract with the club."
