Max Waller, the Somerset leg-spinner, has retired from professional cricket aged 34.
The Salisbury native spent virtually his entire professional career, which began in 2009, at Taunton.
Alongside nine first-class appearances and another 59 in List A cricket was a stellar T20 career.
He was the driving force behind several failed Blast campaigns. Part of the side that lost the 2009 final to Sussex Sharks which sparked three runners-up finishes in a row, Waller also helped Somerset reach Finals Day in 2021 where they were beaten by champions Kent Spitfires.
