Sussex left-armer Sean Hunt has agreed a two-year contract extension at Hove.
The 22-year-old's renewal comes a day after it was confirmed that Jamie Atkins, 21, was leaving the county to pursue opportunities outside the game.
Atkins, a right-arm seamer, had a year remaining on his deal and made nine appearances for Sussex.
"I'd like to thank Sussex for the three years I've had as a cricketer, helping me to fulfil a dream of mine since I was a kid," he said.
"I'm disappointed I didn't push on from a good start in 2021, however I've had time to move on and start thinking about life after cricket."
Hunt, meanwhile, came through Surrey's academy and has established himself as an important part of Sussex's young seam attack.

He was their joint-leading wicket-taker in 2022 and, after struggling with injuries through 2023, returned with 14 wickets in five games at the back-end of the County Championship campaign.
"I am really pleased to have signed an extension with Sussex; I feel at home here," he said.
"I thoroughly enjoyed working with Paul and the staff last year. It's very exciting to be a part of such as talented group and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish in 2024."
Paul Farbrace described Hunt as one of the club's "breakthroughs last summer".
"He is a fantastic team man, really popular with everyone at the club, and a player we all want to succeed.
"The whole coaching and support staff are rightly very proud of Sean and all have really high hopes for his continued development and progress."
