The pair have put pen to paper on one-year extensions which will keep them at Old Trafford until 2022 as the county look to build on their undefeated Division Two title-winning season
Lancashire have secured the services of Rob Jones and Josh Bohannon until the end of the 2022 season after awarding both players with new one-year contract extensions.
After previously signing identical deals with the county 12 months ago, both players have enjoyed breakthrough seasons, with Jones one of just three players to feature in all 14 of the club's County Championship outings and Bohannon registering a career-best 174 against Derbyshire in September to put them on the brink of the Division Two title.
Glen Chapple, the county's head coach, is keen to see the local prospects continue to enhance their reputations as his side returns to the top tier of the county game in the new year, beginning at home to Kent on April 12.
"Josh and Rob have established themselves as key parts of our side and have rightly been rewarded with extended contracts," Chapple said.
"It is always pleasing when academy graduates make the step up to become 1st XI regulars and both have proven they have what it takes to be successful in first-class cricket.
"Next season will be another test for them with the step up to Division One, but they have both responded well to increased responsibility and it bodes well for us heading into 2020."
Both Jones and Bohannon enjoyed breakthrough seasons in 2019, appearing in 24 and 33 first-team outings respectively
"The coaching staff have backed me to play a bigger role and thankfully I have been able to repay the faith they have shown in me," Bolton all-rounder Bohannon said.
"Getting that first century against Derbyshire made me feel a sense of belonging in first-class cricket and I want to keep on improving from here. The challenge for me is to contribute match-winning performances on a regular basis and it's a challenge I'm looking forward to."
Warrington-born batsman Jones added: "I love pulling on the jersey with the red rose on and I am hugely passionate about the club. To represent the club is an honour and I love every single moment of it.
"Winning Division Two last season was just the beginning. We are ultimately here to win trophies for this great club and I want to be part of more successes in future seasons."
