Ollie Price has signed a new two-year contract with Gloucestershire which will keep him at the club until at least the end of 2023.
The 20-year-old allrounder, an academy product, made his first-class and List A debuts for the club last season, scoring 153 runs across both formats and taking his maiden first-team wicket against Kent in the Royal London Cup.
Price, whose brother Tom also plays for Gloucestershire, is yet to make his T20 debut.
Commenting on his new deal, Price said: "It’s such an exciting time to be at Glos [Gloucestershire] and I’m so excited to sign for another two years.
Ollie Price's older brother, Tom (above), is also a first-team player at Gloucestershire
"I’m really looking forward to contributing to the team in as many ways as possible, and to sharing some special moments with such a great bunch of guys."
Interim head coach, Ian Harvey, added: "Ollie is a fantastic young talent who has come on leaps and bounds since breaking into the first team last season. This squad is full of potential and it’s important that we show our commitment to the future by rewarding players like Ollie, who are the future of the club.
"Ollie has already shown he’s very capable with the bat and with the ball, and there’s no doubt he’ll continue to improve and make more meaningful contributions for the first team over the next couple of years."
