Northamptonshire have added three new members to its club board.

Linda Fisher, Sam Kiddy and Shivani Kaushike have been brought in to bring industry experience and expertise to the board’s sub-committees.

Chairman Gavin Warren said: "I am delighted to welcome Sam, Shivani & Linda to the NCCC board of directors.

"We are lucky to have the skill sets of the three new board members and we thank them for giving us their valuable time."

Kiddy has worked in marketing for more than 20 years and will join the commercial sub-committee to improve the club’s communication with a wide range of demographics and communities.

"I see my role as bringing a new and different voice to the club," Kiddy told NCCC’s official website.

"Women are still underrepresented at cricket board level, but at Northamptonshire, we’re really changing that."

"We have an amazing opportunity to champion women’s and girls’ cricket as well as widen the opportunities for kids to discover cricket.”

Linda Fisher, chair of the supporters club for six years, joins as a ticket representative and will act as a link between season ticket holders and the board.

"It is massively exciting to be welcomed onto the board of directors," said Fisher. "The club is keen to hear the opinion of the season ticket holders and it will be great to ensure there is open communication between the two."

Meanwhile, Kaushike joins the safeguarding and welfare sub-committee and will be part of delivering governance and EDI strategies.
