"Fifteen years of fun comes to an end as I’ve decided to retire at the end of the summer. Thanks to everyone who played a part along the way, I’ve enjoyed living the childhood dream," he posted on social media on Monday.
An England age-group international at both under-17 and under-19 level - he was England's leading wicket-taker at the 2010 Under-19 World Cup - Buck has collected 272 first-class wickets and 1,489 red-ball runs over the course of his career.
He is one of four players to depart Wantage Road at the end of the campaign.

Ben Curran, the brother of England internationals Tom and Sam, will also leave the club. As will Dutch international Brandon Glover and batsman Charlie Thurston.
Head coach John Sadler said: "It's never nice when good people leave the club, and they can all be proud of the contributions they made on and off the field.
"We wish them well for the future."
