Matt Parkinson will join Kent for their One-Day Cup title defence in August.
In June, the Lancashire spinner signed a three-year contract with Kent, which will begin on November 1.
Parkinson hasn't featured for Lancashire since June 2 and is currently on loan at Durham in the County Championship.
The 26-year-old has made 30 List A appearances across his career, taking 47 wickets with an economy of 5.23, including earning five ODI caps for England.

However, due to The Hundred, for which he was a surprise omission this season, he hasn't featured in the One-Day Cup since 2019. His most recent List A outing came back in July 2021, when he turned out for England against Pakistan.
"I'm really excited to join Kent in the One-Day Cup," Parkinson said.
"It will be great to meet everyone at the club 'early' and to show everyone what I can do before I make the move to Canterbury at the end of the year."
Kent's director of cricket, Paul Downton, said: "There has been plenty of excitement around the club since we announced that Matt will be joining us next season. It will be great to welcome him early to Kent for the One-Day Cup starting next week."
Kent lifted the 50-over title at Trent Bridge last September, defeating Lancashire by 21 runs.
