The leg-spinning allrounder featured in all but two matches in the County Championship as Middlesex returned to Division One five years after their relegation
Middlesex allrounder Luke Hollman has signed a contract extension after the 21-year-old played a key role in the county's promotion.
Hollman featured in all but two matches in the County Championship as Middlesex returned to Division One five years after their relegation in 2017.
He scored 518 runs, averaging 34.5, and took 19 wickets. In 2021, he claimed 10 wickets in a win over Sussex, giving him the best match figures by an English leg-spinner in first-class cricket for a decade.
"I have been in the Middlesex system since the age of nine and to now be realising that dream and extending my stay at such an historic club is a real honour," said Hollman.
"I am very grateful to [Richard Johnson] and all of the coaching staff for the help and support they have given me, for the faith they have shown in me, and for the opportunities I have been given.
"I am looking forward to working hard to secure a regular place in the first team in all formats and to kicking on the performances over the last couple of years and building on my consistency."

Hollman's new contract keeps him at Middlesex until at least the end of the 2024 season; to date, he has taken 80 wickets and scored 1,278 runs across all formats in first-team cricket, having previously come through the county's academy – one of four current players to have emerged through amateur club North Middlesex.
"We are really pleased to have secured Luke's signature for the next couple of years," added Alan Coleman, Middlesex's head of men's performance cricket. "He is an extremely talented young cricketer, who features prominently in our plans for the future, and we are extremely excited to see how his game develops over the coming seasons.
"Luke's passion, desire to improve his game, and his will to win, are just a few of the attributes that make him the player he is, and with more game time and experience in the first eleven, he will continue to improve as a player."
Hollman is the second Middlesex spinner to sign new terms at the county in the last fortnight; Thilan Walallawita extended his contract earlier in October.
