Lancashire bowler Richard Gleeson has undergone surgery on his right wrist.
The 35-year-old sustained the injury while playing for Gulf Giants in the inaugural edition of the ILT20, prompting him to pull out of a stint in the PSL with Peshawar Zalmi.
However, the fracture failed to heal after six weeks, forcing Gleeson to go under the knife on March 10.
In a post on Instagram, Gleeson wrote: "Six weeks ago, I fractured my wrist playing for Gulf Giants, meaning I missed the back end of the ILT20 and was unable to join up with Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL.

"Unfortunately, six weeks on the fracture hasn’t healed and is a 'non union'. So yesterday (Friday) I underwent surgery to screw it all back together."
Gleeson made five appearances for Gulf Giants, taking six wickets and maintaining an economy of 5.63.
He recently signed a two-year extension to his T20-only contract with Lancashire, which will keep him at Emirates Old Trafford until the end of the 2024 season.
Last year, he took a competition-leading 25 wickets in the T20 Blast, form which earned him six T20I caps for England.
Lancashire's first T20 Blast outing of the 2023 season is scheduled to take place on May 20, when they face Derbyshire as part of a double-header with Yorkshire and Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston.
