The West Indies international took four wickets at 34.75 in two appearances
Kemar Roach’s time at Surrey has been cut short by a hamstring injury sustained on day two of the club’s LV= Insurance County Championship clash with Hampshire.
The West Indies international was due to play five red-ball matches for Surrey in 2022.
In his two appearances – against Warwickshire and Hampshire – he picked up four wickets at 34.75.
He was a nuisance at Edgbaston, taking three early wickets to help reduce the defending champions to 41 for 4.

Against Hampshire, he made another bright start, bowling James Vince in the 10th over. However, he was only able to contribute 6.2 overs in the first innings before leaving the field injured.
Commenting on social media, Roach said: "I’m gutted that my time at Surrey has come to an end due to a slight injury, but I want to thank the whole Surrey family for the love and care they have shown."
Roach picked up 22 wickets at 20.54 in five appearances for the club last season and his premature departure is a blow for Surrey.
