The Lancashire captain retired hurt on 189 off 247 deliveries
Keaton Jennings has suffered a suspected hamstring tear while batting on day three of Lancashire's County Championship clash with Somerset.
The Lancashire captain retired hurt on 189 off 247 deliveries, having previously put Somerset's bowlers to the sword with 27 fours and two sixes.
Jennings pulled up while running a routine single and after briefly utilising Luke Wells as a runner, he called time on his innings shortly before lunch.
His injury rather derailed Lancashire's innings, with his side slumping from 413 for 2 to 554 all out, a lead which has since been cut to 72 by Sean Dickson and Tom Lammonby.

Head coach Glen Chapple said after the match: "We were going really well. Keaton was going superbly and losing him was a bigger blow than anything else.
"We think it's a torn hamstring at this stage, we're not sure how bad. Hopefully it'll be a grade one but it could be a grade two, we're not sure yet.
"We'll have to wait and see what the severity of it is but it could be a proper hamstring tear."
Jennings is the leading run-scorer in Division One midway through round three, with 378 runs, including one century and two half-centuries, in five innings. Josh Bohannon is the only other Lancashire player with more than 200 runs to his name.
