Denly, 36, has agreed terms on a new deal that will see him remain with the club until at least the end of the 2025 season.
The batsman has accumulated more than 18,000 runs for the county across all formats over the course of his career, as well as claiming 150 wickets with his part-time leg-spin.
The former England international offers considerable experience to a young dressing room at Kent, and will be a key cog in his side's County Championship and T20 Blast campaigns in 2023.

"I still feel like I can make some big contributions as a Kent player and it's an exciting group that we have here now, I'm eager to win more trophies," Denly said.
Denly follows Tawanda Muyeye, Nathan Gilchrist and Hamid Qadri in extending his Kent contract ahead of the new county season.
Director of cricket Paul Downton said: "Joe is a high-quality player who is an integral part of the dressing room here at Kent. We believe he will continue to make significant contributions with both bat and ball across all formats."
