Sussex have signed up left-arm seamer Jaydev Unadkat for the final throes of the county summer.
Unadkat will be available for the first three of the four remaining County Championship Division Two matches in September.
He could make his debut against Durham at Chester-le-Street (September 3) before the visit of Leicestershire (September 10) and trip to Derbyshire (Derbyshire 19).
He is unavailable for the season closer against Gloucestershire ahead of returning home to captain Saurashtra in the Irani Cup.

The 31-year-old has recently returned to the India fold during the West Indies tour, playing both Tests and the third one-day international.
The move sees Unadkat join countryman Cheteshwar Pujara, who is in the midst of a second season at Hove.
Sussex will resume their four-day season fourth in Division Two with a single victory from their 10 matches.
"I have been following the team's recent run of success and I had a nice conversation with Paul (Farbrace) and it looks like I can definitely add value and contribute towards the team's goals," said Unadkat, who has 382 first-class wickets.

"The English County Championship has a wonderful legacy, and I was keen to grab the opportunity whenever I can and it seems to be the right time for me at this point in my career.
"I hope to add to the laurels that my dear friend and team-mate, Cheteshwar has been adding aplenty while representing Sussex for the last couple of seasons, and more importantly helping the team win games."
Head coach Farbrace added: "We are delighted that Jaydev will join us for the September championship period, he is a quality bowler and a great guy to have join our squad at an exciting time of the season.
"His record is outstanding, and we will be looking for Jaydev to share his experience with our developing team."
