The 23-year-old has not figured for the Edgbaston club this season and arrives at the County Ground as cover for injuries to the bowling attack for the remainder of the first Championship block
Derbyshire have moved to ease the injury problems suffered by their bowling attack with the loan signing of Henry Brookes from Warwickshire.
He is available for the remaining matches of the first block of County Championship against Leicestershire (May 4) and Gloucestershire (May 11).
Brookes, who is contracted until 2024, has not figured in any of Warwickshire's opening three red-ball fixtures and departs Edgbaston in search of game time.
In 28 first-class matches, the 23-year-old has taken 73 wickets - 18 of which came when Warwickshire won the County Championship Division One title in 2021.
Head coach Mark Robinson said: "Henry's loan move to Derbyshire will give him invaluable game time.

"We're incredibly fortunate to have such a destructive attack and at this stage, it's important for Henry to stay prepared for any first-team opportunities.
"Henry is a talented seamer, who is highly thought of at Edgbaston, and we’re excited to see how he bowls under the watchful eye of Mickey Arthur."
The moves come with Derbyshire's depleted attack having struggled during the early rounds of the Division Two season. They sit bottom of the table having lost two of their opening three games and have overseas seamer Suranga Lakmal and allrounder Anuj Dal out with groin and side injuries, respectively.
"Henry is an impressive young player and has experience of success in the Championship, he will complement our group well in the next two home games," said head of cricket Mickey Arthur.
"We needed to bolster our seam attack, with Anuj Dal out and Suranga Lakmal building towards full fitness, and he will bring added quality to our group."
