The 28-year-old, who had previously spent two spells on loan in south Wales, agrees to a long-term move to Sophia Gardens ahead of the new season
Glamorgan have secured the permanent signing of Harry Podmore from Kent.
The Middlesex academy graduate arrives after five seasons with the Canterbury club, making 74 appearances across the formats on a "multi-year deal".
He was part of the two runs to the Royal London Cup final, taking the wicket of Josh Bohannon in the 21-run victory over Lancashire at Trent Bridge last September.
And in 2018, Podmore claimed 45 wickets as Kent were promoted to LV= Insurance County Championship Division One.
"Speaking with (director of cricket) Mark Wallace and some of the players, it is easy to understand the sense of ambition and excitement around the Club.
"I can't wait to join this journey and make a difference, on and off the field. I strongly believe my best cricket lies ahead of me, and look forward to thriving in all formats."

Podmore has previously spent two spells on loan at the south Wales club - making four appearances - including his first-class debut in 2016 against Kent.
He added: "After a challenging couple of seasons, I have decided to leave Kent, and I do so with a heavy heart.
"I have loved my time at the club, and am proud to be a capped player. I will always cherish the memories of winning two trophies and competing well in Division One of the County Championship. I simply feel it is time for a fresh start."
Wallace explained: "Having known him from his loan spells here, we are certain he will fit in well in the dressing room.
"He is at the age where his peak years lie ahead and can perform across all formats. We’re excited to have him join us at the club.”
