The 20-year-old has made a major impression during the club's Royal London Cup campaign
Hampshire have tied academy product Toby Albert down to a two-year contract extension.
The 20-year-old, who has impressed in the Royal London Cup, will remain with the county until at least the end of the 2024 season.
In five 50-over matches so far this season, he has scored 218 runs at an average of 72.66, putting in two match-winning performances along the way.
Batting at No.7, he made an unbeaten 84 in a chase against Derbyshire, following up with 65 not out to win both games by two wickets.
"He made a significant contribution in this year's successful Vitality Blast campaign and has already impressed in the Royal London Cup," said Giles White, the county's director of cricket. "We look forward to Toby's continued development and are excited to see what's next for him."

Albert featured twice in the 2021 T20 Blast, the second of which came on Finals Day at Edgbaston alongside James Vince, and his white-ball ability resulted in his signing by Chennai Braves for the Abu Dhabi T10 League last winter.
This season, he played nine matches during Hampshire's run to the Blast title.
