Naveen, who has previously taken 54 wickets in three Blast campaigns for Leicestershire, will be available for the final six group matches and the knockout stage
Hampshire have brought in Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq to bolster their hopes of winning of a fourth T20 Blast crown.
The 24-year-old will be available for the final six group matches and September's knockout stage, should the Hawks advance.
Earlier in February, Hampshire confirmed the signing of Australian allrounder Michael Neser for the first eight group matches.

Naveen is no stranger to the competition, taking 54 wickets with an economy of 8.28 across three seasons with Leicestershire, and was the leading wicket-taker in the 2021 Blast, with 26 wickets with an economy of 8.67 in 14 matches.
He has taken 187 wickets in 157 T20s across his career and has established himself as a reliable performer in both the powerplay – he boasts an economy of 7.71 in the opening six overs – and at the death.
In 32 T20Is for Afghanistan, he has 40 wickets with an economy of 8.16.
On joining Hampshire, Naveen said: "I'm excited to be joining Hampshire for the second leg of the Vitality Blast this year. Hopefully, I can help the team to repeat the success of 2022 and win another T20 trophy."
Director of cricket, Giles White, added: "He is experienced and specialises in bowling during the pressure phases of the game.
"It's great to have a high-class performer like Naveen with us at the business end of the competition."
