Grant Stewart extends Kent stay: "It's a great club"

Allrounder Stewart has made 89 appearances for Kent since making his debut for the club in 2017

Grant Stewart has signed a contract extension at Kent, keeping him with the county until 2024.

Allrounder Stewart has made 89 appearances for Kent since making his debut for the club in 2017.

He is an Italy international, and has spent time out on loan at Sussex this season.

"I'm really pleased to sign an extension to my Kent contract for at least two more years," Stewart said.

"We've faced some setbacks as a squad this year, I believe we'll be better for it in the coming years and I'm looking forward to being a part of that.

"Kent's a great club, full of great people, and I’m hopeful I can play a big part in bringing more success to the club."

The revolving door at Canterbury has been in perpetual motion over recent days, with Joey Evison joining from Nottinghamshire and Matt Milnes confirming his departure to Yorkshire.

Sam Billings, the club captain, has committed his future with a long-term contract extension.
