Glamorgan have extended the contracts of bowlers Prem Sisodiya and Andy Gorvin on the day that Will Smale signed his first professional deal with the Welsh county.

Left-arm spinner Sisodiya, whose extension will keep him in South Wales for the next two years, has played 53 times across all formats since making his debut in 2018.

The 25-year-old, who was part of England's 2018 Under-19 World Cup squad, has featured predominantly in Glamorgan's T20 side during his career, taking 40 wickets in 41 T20 appearances.

"It's been my club since I was a little boy and I've always grown up wanting to represent Glamorgan, so I'm grateful to have the opportunity to carry that on for another two years," said Sisodiya.

Right-arm seamer Gorvin, having made his List A and first-class debuts in 2021 and 2022, respectively, has also featured for Glamorgan across all formats, making his T20 debut against Surrey at The Oval in June.

Sisodiya and Gorvin will also be joined by Smale next year, who made his professional debut against Surrey in this year's T20 Blast.

Smale, whose sister Sophia plays for Western Storm, said: "I'm delighted to sign my first professional contract at Glamorgan. Having played through the Welsh age group pathway, it's amazing to run out at Sophia Gardens and represent Glamorgan.

"This is everything I've always wanted and now my full focus is on working hard to keep developing my game and hopefully making an impact at the start of next season."

Mark Wallace, Glamorgan's director of cricket, added: "Will has thoroughly earned his first professional contract through hard work and consistent improvement through pathway, university and second XI cricket. We're looking forward to what he can bring to the squad and to seeing him develop further over the next few seasons."
