Glamorgan have confirmed the signing of India international Shubman Gill for the remainder of the LV= Insurance County Championship season.
Gill, 22, has 11 Test caps for his country. His signing represents something of a coup for Glamorgan, who are pushing hard for a promotion place in Division Two.

Gill's runs could therefore be crucial, and he will be available to Glamorgan for their return to first-class action against Worcestershire at Sophia Gardens from Monday (September 5).
"He is one of the most exciting young batters in the world and already has experience of batting in these conditions during his time with India," director of cricket Mark Wallace said.
"With Colin [Ingram] and Marnus [Labuschagne] away, we needed to strengthen the top-order during and with his international pedigree, Shubman is the ideal cover."
