Somerset have awarded a contract extension to up-and-coming batsman George Bartlett.
Bartlett, 24, has committed to another year at Taunton, meaning he will now remain with the club until at least the end of the 2023 season.
A graduate from the county's youth development programme, Bartlett made his debut for Somerset in 2017 and has played 68 times for the club across formats.
While he has yet to establish himself as a prolific runscorer - Bartlett averages 28 in first-class and List A cricket, and 21 in T20s - there has certainly been enough evidence of a bright future - namely five first-class centuries and one ton in List A matches.

"It's really good to have the backing of the Club for another year," he said.
"Playing for Somerset means everything to me. I've been here since I was 10 years old. It's a great club with a lot of history and there's a great bond between everyone both on and off the field.
"The No.1 priority now is to help the club win trophies. I just want to be making match winning contributions across all formats and helping Somerset to win matches."
