Former captain Billy Godleman will leave Derbyshire when his contract expires at the end of the 2023 season.
The 34-year-old has scored over 10,000 runs in 249 appearances since joining the club from Essex in 2013.
A top-order batter, he made 118 first-class appearances for Derbyshire, scoring 6,697 runs at 32.66, including 18 centuries and 29 half-centuries.

Against the white ball, he scored 2,485 runs at 49.70 in 59 List A outings and a further 1,448 runs at 24.13 across 72 appearances in the T20 Blast.
Between 2016 and 2022, Godleman served as club captain, becoming the first Derbyshire skipper to lead the Falcons to Finals Day when they reached the semi-finals in 2019.
He stepped down ahead of the 2023 campaign and was replaced by Leus du Plooy.
Godleman has been limited to just three first-class appearances in 2023, with the majority of his cricket this season coming for Liverpool & District Premier League side Rainhill CC, for whom he has scored 678 runs at 42.38 in 17 appearances.
Earlier in September, Godleman joined Warwickshire on a two-week loan to help ease the club's injury crisis.
