Pakistan international Faheem Ashraf has joined Sussex on a short-term deal until the end of the county season.
The allrounder will be available for each of the south coast club's three remaining LV= Insurance County Championship matches, starting with the visit of Worcestershire to Hove on Monday.
Faheem will provide significant experience and know-how with both bat and ball in a Sussex side which has won just once in 11 Championship outings in 2022.

"I am really excited to be here," he was quoted as saying in a statement from the club.
"I am looking forward to playing four-day cricket here in England and I will give 100 per cent for Sussex and hope they enjoy my performances."
Faheem will come straight into the side to face Worcestershire, while Sussex have further fixtures against Durham and Glamorgan before the end of the campaign.
