The left-arm seamer, namechecked by Rob Key in pre-season, has impressed through his first 23 appearances for the club
Leicestershire have announced that seamer Josh Hull - tipped for higher honours by Rob Key - has penned a new three-year contract extension with the club.
The left-armer has impressed during his 23 appearances across formats for the side, and they have moved swiftly to secure his services future for the foreseeable future.
Hull was part of the triumphant One Day Cup-winning side of 2023, taking the key wicket of Liam Dawson in the final over, which helped Leicestershire across the line.
As a result of his good performances, he has also been picked up by Manchester Originals for this year's Hundred.
He has also been namechecked by Key, England men's managing director, as a player on his radar.
In response to Key's words, where he also discussed the importance of prospective England bowlers touching 85mph as a minimum, Hull told The Cricketer: "The attributes I have is maximising my height, pace and bounce, so hearing that lets you play with a bit more freedom as well.

"It takes a bit of pressure off your shoulders as well just to know that you can go out there, run in and try and bowl quick and make things happen. That is definitely a direction I want to go in, so it is nice hearing that."
Speaking to Foxes TV after his contract extension was confirmed, Hull added: "I'm thrilled to extend my time with Leicestershire. I absolutely loved my first year as a professional and I'm excited for the next few seasons ahead.
"If you told me all the things I'd achieve last year, I'd have snapped your hand off. To finish off with a trophy, winning the One Day Cup, it was very special. Hopefully we can make more memories like that.
"I love the group of lads and the coaches here, as well as the vibe and the whole feeling around the Club. I have a really good relationship with Fonz [Alfonso Thomas], he has so much knowledge and being able to tap into that is great. I feel Leicestershire is the best place for me to develop and grow as a player."
