Shadab is returning to Pakistan for international duty alongside Haris Rauf, who has been replaced in Yorkshire's squad by New Zealander Finn Allen
Dominic Drakes has joined Yorkshire for their next four T20 Blast matches.
The West Indies left-armer replaces Shadab Khan, who is returning to Pakistan alongside Haris Rauf ahead of the pair's stint on international duty.
"I'm really excited to get going with Yorkshire as I've always wanted to experience county cricket," said Drakes, who has turned out for Barbados Tridents and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League.
Rauf has been replaced in Yorkshire's squad by New Zealander Finn Allen, who represented Lancashire in last year's Blast.
On Drakes, Yorkshire's managing director of cricket, Darren Gough, added: "He's a very talented young player having just arrived from the IPL where he was part of the winning Gujarat Titans squad.
"As a left-arm bowler and a destructive left-handed batter he offers another great option for our squad."

On Rauf, he said: "Haris has made a huge impact for the club during his time with us. His talent is clear to see and I'm sure he has the skills required to forge a brilliant career in Test match cricket, to go alongside his well-established exploits in white-ball cricket.
"I'm looking forward to seeing his career continuing to develop in the coming years, and hopefully we can welcome him back to Yorkshire again soon."
