David Lloyd will swap Glamorgan for Derbyshire during the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
Lloyd has agreed to make a permanent move to Derby at the end of the season, and will link up with his new county for the 50-over competition in advance of his switch.
The batsman was not due to lead Glamorgan during the tournament, with Kiran Carlson taking on captaincy responsibilities.

Glamorgan and Worcestershire still have to play each other before the end of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Lloyd will come up against the men he has skippered in the One-Day Cup - Glamorgan and Derbyshire are due to face one and another on August 6.
