Hawkins, the organisation's chief executive since February 2020, replaces former Cricket Wales chairman Rod Jones in the role
Leshia Hawkins has been added to Glamorgan's board as its Cricket Wales representative.
Hawkins, the organisation's chief executive since February 2020, replaces former Cricket Wales chairman Rod Jones in the role.
She previously worked for the ECB, where she secured Kia's sponsorship of women’s cricket and a kit partnership with New Balance across all national teams during a spell as business development manager.
In a grassroots development role, she oversaw work in the London region, before leading on the All Stars and Dynamos programmes after moving onto Cricket Wales.
Hawkins said: "I am both delighted and excited in equal measure to be nominated and accepted as Cricket Wales' representative on the Glamorgan board.
Excited & delighted to be joining the @GlamCricket Board of Directors today.

"Despite the challenges of the last 18 months, our organisations have enjoyed a fantastic working relationship and shared in each other’s successes.
"I look forward to cementing this further with Glamorgan colleagues and delivering on our joint strategy to grow cricket across our country and make Wales proud."
Away from cricket, Hawkins is also a non-executive director of England Athletics.
Gareth Williams, who chairs Glamorgan's board, added: "Leshia brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge from her work with ECB and Cricket Wales, where she has successfully worked across a number of roles in the game.
"Leshia has a passion for cricket in Wales and with her role as CEO of Cricket Wales and now a Glamorgan board member, will play an integral part in shaping the future of this club."
