Hutton returned a career-best haul of 62 wickets in the County Championship last season, making him the leading wicket-taker across both divisions
Brett Hutton has signed a two-year contract extension with Nottinghamshire which will keep him at Trent Bridge until at least 2026.
The seamer enjoyed something of a golden summer in 2023, taking a career-best haul of 62 wickets at 21.40 in 13 County Championship outings to finish top of the wicket-taking charts across both divisions.
He also scored 282 first-class runs, including a half-century against Kent, and picked up 11 wickets in the One-Day Cup.
In two spells with Nottinghamshire, either side of a couple of years with Northamptonshire, Hutton has made 60 first-class appearances, scoring 1,513 runs and taking 221 wickets at 26.10.
In List A cricket, meanwhile, he has 48 wickets in 32 outings for Nottinghamshire.

"I think it was clear how much I enjoyed last season," Hutton said. "I was able to take my opportunity when it came and I feel like I got the reward for a lot of hard work over a number of years. To have my best season after a decade as a professional at my boyhood club is pretty special.
"It feels like a squad building towards something and I'm delighted to remain a part of that for the next few years."
Head coach, Peter Moores, added: "Brett's achievement with the ball last year really showed hallmarks of the type of the player and person he is. His skills and consistency with the ball are tremendous - he has got better and better every year since coming back to Trent Bridge a few years ago.
"His contributions with the bat shouldn't be underestimated either, he has shown on a number of occasions the ability to lift us out of tricky situations and put us on the front foot.
"He leaves everything out on the field and he is a hugely resilient character. And he is an asset to the squad off the field with the way he is able to share his experience with others. He sets a great example and it is great to have another homegrown player continuing to call Notts home."
