The spinner, who came through the club's academy, has made three appearances for England Under-19s and featured six times for Sussex's 2nd XI in 2022
Bertie Foreman has signed a rookie contract with Sussex.
The 18-year-old spinner made his debut for England Under-19s in 2022, featuring in two Test matches and one ODI against Sri Lanka Under-19s.
Foreman also played six matches for Sussex's 2nd XI last season. He scored 80 runs and took eight wicket at 47.12 in four 2nd XI Championship outings and made two T20 appearances.
Commenting on signing professional terms, Foreman, who is the grandson of former Sussex cricketer Denis Foreman, said: "I am really happy to have signed for my childhood club, I have been here since I was eight years old, so it means a lot.

"It also means a lot to my family as my grandfather also played here, so I am looking forward to the challenge of making my way into the first team, just as he did."
Performance director, Keith Greenfield, added: "It is great news that Bertie has signed his first deal with the club. He is developing quickly into a an exciting off-spinning allrounder and has a bright future ahead of him.
"He will bring additional competition into our squad, and we look forward to continuing his development in the years to come."
