Anuj Dal extends stay at Derbyshire until 2024

The 25-year-old has made 1,244 runs for the club since his arrival in 2019

Allrounder Anuj Dal has signed a contract extension at Derbyshire.

Dal's two-year deal means he will remain with the county until at least the end of the 2024 summer.

Derbyshire head coach Mickey Arthur said: "I've already said that I consider Anuj to be one of the best fielders in all of county cricket, but his batting and bowling are equally important for us and I'm so pleased he will be staying with us.

"His attitude and personality is exactly what we want in our dressing room, Anuj is hungry for success and brings real positivity into every performance."

Dal added: "I've had a real journey over the last year, but the clarity of the defined role I have under Mickey has given me the tools to really develop my game."
