Worcestershire’s director of cricket Steve Rhodes has left his role after an internal investigation.
Rhodes had been subject of an investigation in the wake of allrounder Alex Hepburn’s rape charge.
It was reported that Rhodes was under investigation for "failing to report the player's arrest in a timely fashion".
Hepburn is due to appear on court on January 4.
The county made a brief statement on their website.
“Steve Rhodes has left WCCC with immediate effect. We thank him for his 33 years as a player, coach and Director of Cricket. We wish him well in the future," it read.
Worcestershire say there will be no further comment at this time.
