Glamorgan have signed Australia international Mitchell Swepson as cover for Michael Neser in the County Championship.
Neser is currently away on international duty for the Ashes.
The allrounder leaves big shoes to fill after scoring 311 runs, including one century and two half-centuries, and taking 19 wickets at 25.63 in five Championship outings this season.

Swepson, a legspinner, has taken 185 wickets at 35.53 in 62 first-class matches but is far from a like for like swap for Neser, with a batting average of just 12.49 in red-ball cricket.
The 29-year-old made his Test debut against Pakistan in 2022 and has since picked up 10 wickets in four matches. He has also earned 11 white-ball caps for Australia.
Swepson will be available for Glamorgan's upcoming County Championship matches against Sussex, Leicestershire, Gloucestershire and Derbyshire before heading back to Queensland ahead of the Sheffield Shield in September.
Glamorgan are currently fifth in Division Two, with one win and six draws from seven matches, but are only 10 points behind second-placed Sussex.
